Popular open back banjo from OME. Two-ply Maple 12″ rim with wood tonering shaped at top of rim. Two co-ordinator rods.
Mahogany neck. Ebony peghead overlay with attractive moon & stars inlays. Gabon Ebony fingerboard with more Moon & Stars inlays and “S-scoop” (or “scallop”), after the 17th fret.
Bottom edge of rim has blackened cap and tortoise binding inside and outside of lower edge. Shoe construction, with 26 brackets. All banjo hardware is antique’d brass. Even the nickel plated tuners have been antiqued.
This is one of the most popular OME open-back banjos and gives as much satisfaction from the feel as well as the tone.
