This recent Northfield Calhoun NFC-FT has a Spruce top, Flame Maple back, sides, and neck. Walnut appointments. This mandolin has no wear to mention.
The snakehead peghead has a Walnut overlay with a Northfield ivoroid inlay at the top, and an easy access cavity for the truss rod. 4-on-a-plate nickel tuners with Ebony buttons. Bone nut. The Walnut fingerboard has pearl dot inlays, and black side dot position markers. Maple neck is shaped nicely, and it has no wear.
The Spruce top has a two-piece adjustable walnut bridge, a dyed Maple pickguard, and a one-piece machined tailpiece similar to the kind Collings uses. Ebony end pin.
This is a simple mandolin in terms of appointments, but it has great tone and playability. No wear to mention. Comes with a gig bag.
