This 1990’s era Tobias Growler is a nicely balanced bass guitar in excellent condition. This bass features a swamp ash body with an open pore natural finish and lovely wood grain. Asymmetrical 3-piece Maple and Purpleheart neck with dual action truss rod. The neck has a heel-less neck joint, which allows easy access to the 24th fret. The fingerboard is Pau Ferro with medium frets. There is a 1-1/16″ bone nut. The headstock features the Tobias logo, visible skunk stripe, and black Grover tuners. There are matching strap buttons and a high mass style bridge, both also in black.
The QUAD coil Bartolini pickup is a passive “Music Man” style design. EQ consists of 1 volume, 1 coil blend (to balance between the 2 sets of coils), 2 stacked bass/treble knobs and 2 “tone-shaping switches”.
There are very light dents and scratches on the body, but overall, it is in excellent cosmetic condition.
