This is a great condition Mahogany Parlor guitar with a wide-grained Spruce top that sure looks like Red Spruce. Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard and Peghead veneer. Newer Rosewood pyramid bridge.
12-fret neck joint with slotted headstock. Original 3-on-a-plate open back tuners. Might be original Ebony nut. Original frets are in good shape. The Mahogany neck shape is a generous full “V” profile. Rosewood heelcap. Pearl dot inlays in the fingerboard.

The Spruce top is blonde, with cream binding around the top edge that has wooden hound’s tooth purflings inside the binding. The soundhole rosette also shows the inner ring if this same hound’s tooth purfling. Red-brown Mahogany back and sides. The back has a wooden marquetry back strip.

This is a very good sounding, 100 years old, ladder braced guitar that is in great shape, with a recent neck reset and fresh set-up.
