This guitar is in great condition. Lacquer is hearty, shows polite finish checks and some slight wear around peghead. Some light marks on body. The overall condition of the finish is very good. Finish on back of neck has been removed for “speed neck” (a good job, it feels great). Strap locks installed at endpin and in neck heel.
Sunburst. maple body with mahogany neck. Blackened peghead face, with Gibson decal at top. White/black truss rod cover. Original nut. Brazilian Rosewood radiused fingerboard, with original frets that have been milled and have some wear. Pearloid dot inlays in fingerboard. Black/white/black original pickguard in great shape mounted to the guitar.
Original P-90 in good shape. Original Brazilian rosewood adjustable bridge in good shape. Replacement control knobs. Original 3-on-a-plate tuners are replaced with Kluson deluxe with tulip buttons. Original trapeze tailpiece intact, and in good shape. Maple back with mahogany sides – disguised to look alike. Antiqued white binding around top and back of body.
We’ve had quite a few ES-125’s in the last few years, and this is among the top for flatness of neck, and viability of finish.
Comes with original brown case in great condition.
