Mahogany TOP, Sides & Neck
Maple Back / Original Frets

The Original finish is beautiful and all intact with usual finish crazing all around. This guitar is a bit of an oddity with its Mahogany Top, Sides and Neck and with a Maple back! Bridge, pickguard, tuners and the trapeze TP are original and working good. No cracks or repairs. One small thumb area os wear on bass side of back of neck between 1st and 2nd frets.

The blackened peghead face shows the “Gibson” decal at the top. Truss rod access above the bone nut. Three-on-a-plate Kluson Duluxe tuners with original cream buttons. The “C” profile Mahogany neck has some crackle finish but it is in overall good shape with no marks that are bothersome while playing. Rosewood fingerboard with MOP dot inlays. Small side dot position markers on bass side of F.B.

The Tobacco sunburst Mahogany top is in nice shape. No signs of player wear, but usual finish checking. Rosewood adjustable bridge, tortoise pickguard, and trapeze tailpiece. Cream binding on the top and back edge. The Mahogany back and sides have crack finish and some signs of player wear but there are no cracks or crack repairs

Comes with a newer TKL Gibson hard case.
