This 1974 Gibson Heritage Custom is a good candidate for a regular gigging musician. It has some general signs of player wear but it is in overall good shape. Nice balanced and punchy dreadnought. The L.R. Baggs pickup that is installed sounds great.

The Ebony peghead overlay has a “Gibson” MOP inlay the top with another MOP inlay below it. Truss rod cover with “Heritage” written down the center. Bone nut. Nickel Grover tuners. The Ebony fingerboard has rectangle MOP inlays, and cream side dot position markers. The three-piece “C” profile Mahogany neck has a few dings but it is in overall good shape. Black strap button installed.

The Spruce top has spread out dings and scratches, and one more major marking of wear above the bass side of the bridge. Other than those signs of wear, this Spruce top is in good shape. Black plastic pickguard, Ebony bridge with Ebony bridge pins, Black binding on the top edge. L.R. Baggs pickup installed. The Rosewood back and sides have some spread out dings and scratches, but no major wear. L.R. Baggs pickup access also acts as the end pin.

This 1974 Gibson Heritage model is a good option for a mid-range budget. It sounds good fingerpicked or flatpicked. Comes with the original hard case.
