This 2002 Rubio 12-string is in great condition and it has nice playability. Spruce top with Maple back, sides, and neck.
The Rosewood peghead does not have any engravings or decals. Nickel Martin tuners with pearloid buttons. Truss rod access above the bone nut. Ebony fingerboard with no inlays, and only three side positions markers at the 7th, 12th, and 19th frets on the bass side of the fingerboard. “D” profile Maple neck is in great shape with no wear to mention.
The Spruce top is in nice shape with almost no wear. A clear plastic pickguard takes up a lot of space on either side of the soundhole. Rosewood bridge has Rosewood bridge pins with pearl dots, and a bone saddle. Decorative abalone soundhole rosette, and abalone purfling before the Rosewood binding on the top edge. Maple back and sides have gorgeous Birdseye figure with a slight amount of finish checking. Two-piece Birdseye Maple back is separated by a thick Rosewood strip down the center. Rosewood binding on the back edge of the Maple back. Rosewood end wedge.
This 2002 Rubio 12-string is a very decorative guitar in great shape. Comes with a hard case.
*Currently waiting to get a small hairline crack repaired on the back. If you look at the back you can see two knots in the Maple back. The one on the treble side is where the hairline crack is located.
