This 2000 Roy Noble Coco Bolo custom is a great sounding instrument. It has an interesting pairing of Coco Bolo and Maple on the back and sides, with a Mahognay neck and Spruce top.
The Coco Bolo peghead overlay features a diagonal ivoroid strip through the center, and ivoroid binding on the top edge. Truss rod access before the bone nut. The Ebony fingerboard features M.O.P diamond inlays and black side dot position markers on the bass side of the ivoroid fingerboard binding. Shallow “D” profile Mahogany neck is in great shape with only a few stray dings. Nickle strap button installed correctly in heel.
The Rosewood bridge features a bone saddle and bone bridge pins with black dots. The Spruce top features a herringbone soundhole rosette, a tortoise pickguard, and herringbone purfling inside the Flame Maple binding on the top edge. The sides are made up of a thin strip of Coco Bolo and a thin strip of Maple laminated together. The Cocobolo back has a large center piece of Maple to balance out the Cocobolo tonally. The Back edge is bound in ivoroid.
This is a wonderful sounding guitar in great original condition with original hard case.
