This 2003 Weber Gallatin F-style oval hole mandolin has Mahogany neck, back, and sides with a Sitka Spruce top. Matte Finish. A little bit of wear in two spots on the Spruce top. One area by the treble side of the upper point where it is worn down to the wood from picks and fingernails, and the other spot is at the treble side of the soundhole with similar wear.
The passage of time has been kind to this mandolin. The sound is very “opened-up” and full. This is an excellent choice for promising young player or for your spare mandolin to take to the outdoor jam. Lots of sound. No problems. Comes with travelite case.
