This 2004 Huss and Dalton 000 SP Custom is in really nice shape with only a minimal amount of light dings and scratches. It has great tone, and it really thrives when fingerpicking due to the wider nut width and short scale length.
The slotted peghead features a Rosewood peghead overlay features an Abalone inlay towards the top. Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons, bone nut. Diamond Volute. The “C” profile Mahogany neck is shaped to be very comfortable all the way up the neck. It isn’t too thin, while also not being overly full. It has no dings or scratches on the neck that interfere with playing. The Ebony fingerboard has small pearl diamond inlays, and pearl side dot position markers. Celluloid tortoise strap button installed in the correct position on the heel. Ebony heelcap.
The Spruce top is in nice shape with a small amount of spread out light dings. Ebony pyramid bridge has Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, and a bone saddle. Tortoise plastic pickguard. Herringbone soundhole rosette. L.R. Baggs pickup control on the bass side of the inner soundhole. Five lines of black and white alternating purfling, as well as one thicker Maple line of purfling, before the Koa binding on the top edge. The Indian Rosewood back and sides have some signs of player wear around, but nothing too significant. “Zipper” backstrip, Koa binding on the back edge of the Rosewood back and sides, and the L.R. Baggs pickup access on the butt.
This 2004 Huss and Dalton 000 SP Custom is in great shape, and it sounds and plays very nicely. It does not appear to have had any cracks or crack repairs. Comes with the original tweed hard case.
