Beautiful Rosewood and Adirondack Red Spruce dreadnaut guitar from the master builder Roy Noble.

Description

Exceptional condition.
Serial number: 406. Width at nut: 1 3/4″. Pin spacing: 2 3/16″.
Adirondack Red Spruce top. Rosewood back and sides. Body bound with flamed maple bindings on top and back. Heelcap, backstrip, and endwege are all flamed maple. Roy’s handmade wooden herringbone purfling around inside of top edge and around soundhole rosette. Fingerboard and peghead are bound with grained ivoroid binding. Bound Ebony radiused fingerboard with pearl “cut-diamond” inlays. Nickel Waverly tuners with Ivoroid buttons. Brazilian Rosewood peghead overlay with Noble pearl and wood truss rod cover. Bone nut and saddle. Ebony bridge and pins. Rosewood endpin. Strap button installed in heel.
No wear on frets. Some small marks on the guitar here and there from handling but no real player wear anywhere.
If you are familiar with Roy Noble guitars, you probably have a good idea of how great this guitar sounds. These are respected through several decades as top-flight guitars worthy of recording studio or stage performance. Many studio players and many studios own Roy Noble guitars because of their ease of recording. Basically, microphones love Roy Noble guitars and they sound like magic on recordings. Wonderfully balanced from side to side and end to end of the fingerboard.
