Maple guitar

A fabulous and dramatic artistic statement, the Martin Bellezza Bianca 000-ECHF has remarkable sound and playability. Our 000-ECHF is number 280 of only 410 made. These guitars were made in 2 versions: black, or white like the one we’re offering. You have to see all the photos to appreciate the subtle and dramatic beauty of this guitar. Engelmann spruce top. Big Leaf maple back and sides. Creamy white finish on top, back, sides and neck of the guitar. Peghead, fingerboard, soundhole rosette, pickguard, bridge and pins are black. Bindings are ivoroid with multiple lines, and are just the correct ivoroid color with grain to complement the white everywhere. Peghead shows multiple lines of binding, and the ebony veneer has elaborate abalone Martin inlay that is the grade of a model 42 or 45. Likewise, the radiused ebony fingerboard shows similar grade abalone snowflake, cat-eyes and diamond inlays. Fingerboard also multiple bound. Bellezza Bianca inlayed at 20th fret. Top edge of guitar has wooden herringbone purfling around top edge, and multiple lines seen at sides of guitar. Back binding shows multiple lines at side and bottom. Multiple bound ivoroid heelcap. Back of guitar has wooden herringbone backstrip. Elaborate soundhole rosette with 3 concentric circles of multiple wood purfling, and broad band of cut-diamonds inlayed into black background. Bone nut and intonated saddle. Nickel Martin closed-back tuners. Back and sides are Western Big Leaf maple, Engelmann spruce top. Nice, vintage rounded “V” neck with rounded volute.

The headblock is stamped with normal Martin  logo, model name and serial number. Paper label inside guitar is more informative, with signatures from CF martin, Eric Clapton, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Dick Boak, who is the master luthier at Martin.

Mint condition. Surprisingly, this guitar is in un-played, brand-new mint condition, with the original strings from Martin from 2006. It sounds wonderful, and we’ve decided to leave these strings on for the buyer to remove at their discretion. Fast, sure attack, great balance, and even with 13 year old strings the guitar sounds great.
