1-3/4″ width at nut / Three-piece Cocobolo back
Cedar top
This 2006 Roy Noble Cocobolo Dreadnought is in great shape. It has some light signs of player wear, mostly in the form of light button scratches to the finish, but it does not have any cracks or crack repairs. If you are a regular here you already know how much we admire Roy Noble guitars, but this one even seems to stand out from some of the others we’ve had in the shop.
The peghead overlay features the Noble signature diagonal ivoroid inlay, and a MOP truss-rod cover with “Noble” written down the center. Bone nut. Nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. The sunburst “D” profile Mahogany neck is in great shape with no wear to mention. Ebony fingerboard has pearl diamond inlays, and black side dot position markers on the ivoroid fingerboard binding. Maple end wedge.
The Cedar top is in great shape with only minor signs of prior ownership. Ebony bridge has Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, and a bone saddle. Herring bone soundhole rosette, Herringbone purfling on the top edge of the Cedar top, and Maple body binding. The Three-piece Cocobolo back and sides are separated by Maple strips. The back and sides have light scratching marks and a few minor spread out dings. Maple back binding and Maple end wedge. Ebony end pin with an abalone dot.
This one owner 2006 Roy Noble Cocobolo Dreadnought is a fantastic guitar. Comes with the original hard case.
