Cocobolo back and sides
This 2010 Roy Noble Dreanought has an Adirondack Red Spruce top, Cocoboolo back and sides, and a “D” profile Mahogany neck. Excellent tone and playability.
The Cocobolo peghead overlay features a Maple diagonal strip down the center and a Maple truss rod cover with “Noble” written down the center. Bone nut. Maple peghead binding. Nickel Waveryl tuners with ivoroid buttons. The “D” profile Mahogany neck is in good shape with minmal signs of wear. Appears to be a cigarette burn by the nut of the bass side of the back of the neck. Maple heelcap.
The Adirondack Spruce top is in very nice shape with only minor signs of prior ownership. Ebony bridge with bone bridge pins. Herringbone soundholoe rosette. Herringone purfling and Maple bidning on the top edge of the top. The Cocobolo back and sides show some blushing areas that were caused by trapped moister in the finish. This is just an asthetic issue, it does not affect any structural aspect of the wood. Other than this blushing, the back and sides do not have any major signs of wear. Maple backstrip, Maple endwedge, and Maple binding on the back edge of the body. Bone end pin.
This 2010 Roy Noble Dreadnought is a very nice playing guitar with incredible tone. It has a major price reduction due to the blushing to the finish on the back. Comes with the original hard case.
