1-3/4″ width at nut / 12-fret
25.4″ scale length / slotted peghead
This 2013 Martin 000-17 SM is a really nice sounding guitar. The 12-fret design paired with a 25.4″ scale length makes this a fun guitar to play. It has a Spruce top and Mahogany back, sides, and neck.
The slotted peghead features a Rosewood peghead overlay with the “Martin & Co.” decal at the top. Bone nut. Antiqued 3-on-a-plate tuners with interesting Snakewood tuning buttons. Rosewood fingerboard with small diamond inlays at the 5th, 7th, and 9th frets. The Mahogany neck is a comfortable “C” profile. Some small dings on the neck but none can be felt while playing.
The Spruce top is in really nice shape with only a minimal amount of stray dings and scratches. Pau Ferro bridge with Ebony bridge pins. Tortoise pickguard and simple 4-line soundhole rosette. Single tortoise binding on the top edge of the Spruce top.
The Mahogany side has some “worm tracks” marks in the finish in the waist. This 2013 Martin 000-17 SM has some signs of player wear, but it is in good shape overall. It is set up well and is easy to play. Comes with a hard case.
