This 2015 Collings Waterloo WL-14 has X-braces and adjustable truss-rod. It also appears to have a Red Spruce top, which is “lucky” because on these Waterloo guitar models you couldn’t choose any woods – you just got the next guitar no matter what species the top was…
The peghead has Waterloo silkscreen decal logo. Tuners are 3-on-a-plate historic reissue tuners. Ebony nut. Rosewood fingerboard has pearl dot inlays. The “V” profile Mahogany neck is pretty chunky, similar to the 30’s necks this model is based off of.
The tobacco sunburst Spruce top appears to be Adirondack but we can’t say for sure. It has a few dings from player wear but it is in overall great shape. Tiger-strip pickguard. Ebony bridge with Ebony bridge pins and a bone saddle. Cream binding on the top edge of the Srpuce top. The Mahogany back and sides are in nearly perfect shape.
This 2015 Waterloo WL-14 X TR is close to looking brand new. It has a few minor dings on the top, but nearly no sign of prior ownership besides that. It is setup very nice with plenty of room for adjsutment in the future. Great tone. Comes with the original hard case.
