2019 OME Alpha 12″ Mahogany Banjo

SN: 6996  •  26 1/4″ Scale Length  •  Exc.(+) Condition.

Figured Mahogany neck with stylized “Star” inlay in center of peghead overlay. I’m not sure of the wood used for the peghead overlay, but it is strikingly beautiful. Flat Gabon Ebony fingerboard with small Pearl dot inlays, “S” curve scalloped end of fingerboard, and 4-point star inlaid in scalloped end of neck. 2-ply figured Maple rim has tortoise celluloid binding at outside bottom, and inside bottom. Bottom of rim has dark wood cap. The Maple rim and Mahogany neck are stained to be a close match. Simple brass bead tone ring under the head. Ebony heel cap. Fingerboard has Ebony binding, with lighter wood strip below. Bone nut. Nickel H&K tuners, Gotoh style Nickel 5th string tuner, all with matching iridescent copper-colored buttons that OME refers to as amber. 26 hooks and nuts. Comes with original hard case.
