A.E. Smith 11″ Maple Whyte Laydie. This is an 11″ Open back Maple rim banjo with Whyte Laydie Tone Ring.
Maple neck with dyed maple peghead overlay and “A.E. Smith” logo decal at the top. The tuners are 5-star nickel with creme buttons. The 5th string is a Grover friction tuner. There is an Ebony nut. Pau Ferro fingerboard with medium pearl dot inlays. Multi-laminate heel with multiple different hardwoods.
The pot is a 24-bracket style with shoes on the outside of the rim. Whyte Laydie tone ring. SN: 442 stamped into the rim. The pot is approximately 7/16″ thickness with maple rim. The pot is finished out on the bottom with exotic hardwoods.
Comes with hard case.
