This amazingly clean 1997 Bourgeois Ricky Skaggs Country Boy is nice in every way. It is really clean and original, with excellent top grade woods.
Adirondack Red Spruce top, and possibly “sinker” Mahogany back, sides and neck. Gabon Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Rosewood Peghead overlay and heelcap.
These
Handsome peghead, with Bourgeois pearl logo inlay at top. Vintage style Kluson copy closed-back tuners. Ebony fingerboard has small dot position markers.
Body has Tortoise outer bindings, with top having multiple purfling lines seen inside the top edge. Ebony bridge has original ivoroid pins and bone intonated “boxed” saddle.
Advanced scalloped bracing. Small Maple bridgeplate. Mahogany end wedge. Ebony end pin. Strap button professionally installed on neck heel.
