Original Hard Case
This 8-string Walnut Fender DeLuxe lap steel has the heavy magnet trapezoidal single pickup, tone and volume knob, pinned metal “fingerboard” and original tuners and case.
The original felt along the bottom is intact.
We suspect this one is from the early 1950’s as it has no serial numbers stamped on the plate and no markings inside the control cavity.
Original wiring.
The sound is great. The pickup and all the controls are working fine and the original tweed case has all latches, hinges and handle working.
