This Gibson Songwriter DeLuxe studio guitar has Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck, and a beautiful Sitka Spruce top. Rosewood peghead overlay has Gibson pearl logo inlaid at top, Gibson crown inlay in the middle, and “Studio” truss rod cover near nut. Gold Grover Rotomatic Tuners. Shallow “U” neck profile is highly playable. Radiused Ebony fingerboard with pearl parallelogram inlays. Tusq nut and intonated saddle. Fingerboard has single cream binding. The top and back of body has the same cream bindings, with the top edge also having five extra plies of purfling inside the binding line. Abalone soundhole rosette. Tortoise pickguard. Ebony bridge. Back of guitar shows wooden marquetry strip down center line. Cream binding endwedge. Pickup professionally installed, with matching gold jack. Neck has strap button installed.
This guitar is in amazing condition. Frets show almost no sign of playing. Made right here in Montana, this guitar has a warm and full sound. Very good attack, with lovely rich tone. Great for accompanying singing or playing instrumental.
