This brand new model, the OME Alpha, is the newest banjo model from OME. And… this is the first one to ship out to a dealer!
It is a 12″ open-back banjo with a Remo Renaissance head, aged brass tension hoop, shoe lugs, 14 hooks and nuts; aged brass K&H tuners with tortoise buttons, aged brass “no-knot” tailpiece, OME trillium bridge. Simple “square-ish” peghead. Wooden Armrest. Light weight.
Beautiful Mahogany Neck with oil finish, two-way truss rod, Ebony peghead veneer with OME logo inlay, 17-fret Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, S-scoop, old style “rolled over” heel, hanger bolts, bone nut, and custom truss rod cover.
Thin rim, Maple ply’s, 3″ tall, 8.4 mm thick, satin oil finish. This is a handsome banjo that is built simple but sounds great.
Comes in its original OME gig bag.
