This new OME Tupelo Open-back banjo has a Cherry neck, Cherry rim, and Ebony fingerboard, peghead veneer, and heelcap. Squared peghead with truss rod access near the bone nut. Flat Ebony fingerboard with small abalone dot inlays and small ivoroid side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. Two railroad spikes at 7th and 9th fret. All antiqued hardware including the tuners. H&K vintage style two-band tuners with iridescent brown amber buttons. Nice one-piece Cherry neck with Ebony heelcap. S-curve scallop after the 15th fret. 1/2″ rim that is finished out at the bottom with tortoise shell inside and out at the bottom edge. The Cherry wood shows on the inside and the outside of the rim. Wooden tone ring where the rim itself is beveled to be the tone ring. OME brass tailpiece and Dotson bridge.
Comes with hand-fit wooden armrest and a nice hard case.
