1-7/8″ width at nut / 25.4″ scale length
This new Scot Oliver L-14 is a nice sounding guitar with good playability. Lutz Spruce top, Sapele back and sides, and a “C” profile Mahogany neck.
The Indian Rosewood peghead overlay features a small “Oliver” decal at the top. Nickel Grover tuners. Bone nut. The Rosewood fingerboard has a single pearl dot inlay at the 12th fret, and side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The nut width is slightly larger than a typical steel string, but the neck profile makes it so it is still comfortable and easy to play. Rosewood heelcap.
The Lutz Spruce top has a clear plastic pickguard and a Rosewood soundhole rosette. Rosewood bridge has Ebony bridge pins and a bone saddle. Rosewood binding on the top edge of the Spruce top. Sapele back and sides are very nice. Rosewood end wedge with black end pin installed.
This new Scot Oliver L-14 is a good guitar for any style of play, but it really thrives when fingerpicking. The slightly wider fingerboard width gives you more room. Good sound and setup. Comes with a hard case.
