This 2022 Sadowsky “Jim Hall” is a strikingly beautiful archtop guitar with beautifully figured maple body.
The peghead veneer is multiple-bound ebony and features “Sadowsky” inlaid in pearl. The peghead is an interesting kind-of snake head with asymmetrical top. The tuners are Gold Gotoh closed back type with black buttons. Gabon Ebony access cover above the bone nut.
The body has a Venetian single rounded cutaway with two f-holes. The finish is a beautiful transparent amber-reddish sunburst. The top and back are both two-piece book-matched flame maple. The top and back both feature maple binding with two black lines of purfling. The back of the neck also features the sunburst finish with maple heel-cap
Gabon Ebony fingerboard with cream binding. The frets are in excellent shape. The body features an ebony pickguard that is notched to allow for a single humbucker pickup. The volume and tone controls feature ebony knobs. There is a two-piece adjustable ebony floating bridge and ebony tailpiece. There are strap locks mounted on the guitar. Body hardware is gold.
