Wechter-Scheerhorn Squareneck Resonator in Sunburst. This guitar was designed by Tim Scheerhorn and it is a really powerful sounding resonator guitar.
The snakehead peghead is darkened and features the “Wechter” logo decal with “Scheerhorn” down the center between the tuner posts. There is a bone nut. The rosewood fingerboard features wooden fret markers, white dot inlays, and creme binding.
The top is in great condition with no signs of playwear. It is constructed of Mahogany – finished in sunburst with cream binding on the top edge. The top features two f-holes where many dobros would have round holes. The cover plate is a traditional fan cover plate. It has a US made spider and saddles. The spider is a normal style-14 cast spider bridge. The hardware is all nickel plated, including the traditional dobro style tailpiece. The end pin is a strap lock type. The back of the guitar is in great condition, and also features the cream binding.
This is a great guitar and comes with a gig-bag.
