This 1997 Fender 50th anniversary Strat is in really great original condition. Almost 30 years old and NO fret wear, NO dings or scratches, NO repairs or touch-up!
The peghead has the “Fender Stratocaster Made in USA” decal on the face; The back of PH has the serial number and the 50th Anniversary emblem.
Locking tuners and two string trees. Truss rod access is at beginning of fingerboard. The fingerboard is Rosewood with modern version of clay dots. Bass side of fingerboard has cream side dots.
The neck is a nice “C” profile that is very comfortable.
The Alder body has a Sunburst that isn’t typical. It has dark tobacco brown outer color with a Red-Gold graduated color in the center of the front and back of the body. The pickguard and the back plate are Wh/Blk/White. Three single coil pickups with 5-way selector switch, Volume pot and 2 Tone pots. Modern strat tremolo bridge configuration (Trem Arm included in case). Output Jack located in the usual position just below pickguard.
There is one rather tiny ding to the lacquer on treble edge of the guitar, just up and out from the jack.
This is a very nice guitar that wasn’t used much.
