This 2002 Collings OM2H is in great playing condition and has had time to open up. It has a Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a rounded “V” profile Mahogany neck. This Collings has been played enough to have some signs of player wear, but it is in good condition overall.

The peghead overlay features a mother of pearl Collings logo inlaid at the top. Nickel Waverly open-back tuners with Nickel lobed buttons. Bone nut. The Mahogany neck features a diamond volute, a Nickel strap button installed in the correct position on the heel, and an ivoroid heelcap. Ebony fingerboard has small abalone diamond inlays at the 5th, 7th, and 9th frets, and small side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. Frets hardly have any sign of wear.

Sitka Spruce top is in good shape with some areas of wear. Ebony bridge with a bone saddle and Ebony bridge pins with m.o.p dots. Small tortoise pickguard. Herringbone purfling inside the ivoroid binding on the top edge. Indian Rosewood back and sides are in nice shape with some stray dings and scratches. black and white lines of purfling inside the ivoroid binding on the back edge. Two-piece Rosewood back is separated by a “zipper” backstrip. Ivoroid endwedge.

This 2002 Collings OM2H has very nice tone. It is a great guitar to either fingerpick or flatpick. Set up nicely with good action and no buzzing. Comes with a Collings hard case.
