This 2002 Gibson J-50 has nice balanced tone, and the playability is great. Spruce top with Mahogany back, sides, and “C” profile neck.
The darkened peghead features the Gibson decal at the top, and a truss rod cover above the nut. Nickel tuners with cream buttons. The Rosewood fingerboard has pearl dot inlays and cream side dot position markers. The “C” profile neck is in great shape with no dings or scratches. Does not have a strap button but one could easily be installed.
The Spruce top has a few small dings and scratches, and some finish checking that is mostly found below the Rosewood bridge. Large tortoise plastic pickguard, and a very simple soundhole rosette. Black/cream/black purfling before the cream binding on the top edge of the Spruce top. The Mahogany back and sides have some light signs of player wear, but no cracks or previous crack repairs. Cream binding on the back edge of the Mahogany back. Pickup access acting as the end pin as well.
This 2002 Gibson J-50 is a clean guitar in great playing shape. Very light and comfortable with no structural issues to mention. This guitar is great for any style of playing. Comes with the original hard case.
