Brazilian Rosewood peghead overlay has Martin & Co decal at top. Pre-War style open-back tuners. Fossilized ivory nut and bone saddle. Ebony bridge pins and endpin. Ebony fingerboard has graduated dot abalone inlays. Ebony bridge has cut-through bone saddle. Top and back of guitar are bound in black binding. Top edge has multiple wooden purflings inside top edge. Ebony heelcap. Strap button professionally installed in heel. Some mild lines of finish checking on the top of the guitar.

These guitars are made faithful to the 1937 version of the iconic Martin D-18. Advanced scalloped braces, hand-tuned, small Maple bridge plate, and generous neck. These guitars have a thunderous attack and huge voice. They sound very close to the historic guitars that inspired them. This is a fine example.

Comes with original Geib-style hard case.
