This 2007 Guild F47CE has a Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a Mahogany neck. The blackened peghead overlay has “guild” inlaid at the top in pearl, and a pearl flourish inlay in the center. Truss access before the bone nut. The back of the Mahogany peghead features the serial number stamped at the top with “Made in USA” stamped below it. Gold Grover tuners with Gold buttons. Rosewood fingerboard with pearl parallelogram inlays and small black dot position markers on the bass side of the white fingerboard binding. The Mahogany neck is a nice shallow “C” profile. Cream heelcap.
The Spruce top features a simple soundhole rosette made up of two concentric circles of black and white alternating lines. Tortoise pickguard. Rosewood bridge with bone saddle and White plastic pins with black dots. The binding on both sides of the upper bout on the top edge has been reglued. Four line black and white purfling before the white binding on the top edge. The top is in nice shape with some signs of players wear. The Rosewood sides are in nice shape with some smalls signs of player wear. Fishman pickup control panel on the bass side of the waist. This 2007 Guild F47RCE is a really nice sounding guitar. It is setup nicely and is very comfortable all the way up the neck. Comes with the original hard case.
