This 2012 Bourgeois Signature D has an Adirondack Spruce top, Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, and a rounded “V” profile neck. These signature models from Bourgeois have handpicked wood and materials by Dana Bourgeois himself. A lot of the time they are hand-voiced by Dana as well.
The peghead overlay features a mother of pearl “Bourgeois” inlay at the top. Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood tuner buttons. Bone nut. The Ebony fingerboard features small diamond ivoroid inlays and white side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The Mahogany neck is in great shape with no dings or scratches. Frets have the slightest sign this guitar was ever played. Rosewood heelcap and Nickel strap button installed.
The Adirondack Spruce top has some lovely bearclaw figure, and it is in great condition with only a few stray dings. Ebony bridge with bone saddle and bone bridge pins with black dots. Interesting pickguard and soundhole rosette. Cool brown and white herringbone purfling inside the flame Koa binding on the top edge. Madagascar Rosewood back and sides are in great shape. Herringbone backstrip separating the two-piece back. More flame Koa found on the back edge of the Madagascar Rosewood back. Bone end pin with black dot installed.
This 2012 Bourgeois Signature D guitar is a great sounding instrument, and it was kept in really nice condition. Comes with a hard case.
